It was GREAT to see Steve T get the ball at the high post.  He looked so gosh darn confident with it and did exactly the right thing.  Result:  High percentage 15 footer and score.  Now, let's do it more and I agree with the previous comment that JW has to somehow be motivated by the coaching staff to do the same damn thing.

Way to go Steve! ;D

BTW - I think DG could be effective at the high post as well.  He has a nice touch from 15.
All this talk of rights.  So little talk of responsibilities.

Really?  That's almost unheard of for ESPN to do that.  Does TWC have the rights also?
I believe because it is on ESPNU, at least that's what it said.

I also love Steve's aggressiveness on offense.  We need some guys that aren't scared to shoot.

I'm being serious.  If you look at the very end of our bench, then go up a few rows there is a guy about 3rd or 4th from the end that looks just like Buzz.  I turned the game on very late, so if it's him and they said it, sorry...missed it.  I assume he's not even allowed in the building, but when Napier scored when splitting our defense this guy in the crowd did the old "traveling" call and it sure looked like him.

Maybe he bought tix that Scoopers were sellin' here?

People don't have ESPNU?

I have no channels that aren't OTA, can use ESPN3 for steaming (since Comcast is my internet provider), but this game is blacked out in the area.

I saw him too Chicos. I believe you might be right.

Might be ok, as long as he's not passing notes.  Would think the TV guys would be all over it if he was indeed a few rows back, unless they too can't decide if it's coach or doppelganger.

Finds multiple ways to score too, which is most exciting.  Has the "soft" jumper that Jamil replies on exclusively, but isn't scared to bang around underneath either.

Hey- quick switch over to the Orange Bowl and was surprised to see FSU cheerleaders dominating their NIU sisters. Ugh

Don't call the NCAA yet....

sure Larry will give em a call once clock hits 0:00.

In seriousness, I wouldn't think there's a rule against Buzz going to the game, as long as no "contact".

Kind of like Zar, Jimmy and Jae did.  He has even more post ability so I'm looking forward to seeing that developing.

you heard it from dickie simpkins ( or whoever the guy is), buzz is at home.   :D

Marqevans

Are we really this bad a shooting team from outside the paint? Wont this even out sooner or later?

Blackhat

That a baby Otule!!!!!!  That move was smooth as butter.

Ohhhhhh. Toooooooo. Laaaaaay

crowd seems very quiet . . . kind of thought it would explode up 10 v. UCONN

chapman

Great start to the half.  Having Vander on the floor should hurt the transition game that kept UConn in the game in the first half- either by him scoring or defending it.

Lockett makes a three and yes, J. Wilson with an offensive foul. No basket.  Just terrible.

Then he leaves his man open for a three on the other end.  How is he this bad?

Norm

11-3 UConn run since they called TO. Nice run by them, MU better respond.

That's why Otlue plays.  Awesome block.

Upper level looks sparse. Anyone guess the actual attendance? 14K?
