Was at 42% from 3 before today. He's had a couple of horrid shooting games, including today, that have brought that percentage down.

Perhaps it's confirmation bias that I notice it more. Just feels like he is missing a ton of wide open 3s this year. Probably compounded by the big drought games.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

You're not wrong. Even the 42% was below what he usually gives us.

Can Ed not dunk??

He’s had two amazing moves but followed it up with maybe the worst trick shot lay up ever and then a biffed layup.

MU gets zero offensive production from the Center position.  Unreal how incompetent those three are offensively.  Wow.  Just wow

Ed, playing an otherwise very good game, simply cannot make layups.

I've said this before, but Sam seems like one of those players that needs to get going early or he doesn't get going at all. This is the third game this season where he's missed his first few and ended up with a bad game. I can't think of a time where he he had a bad first half and then came back with a huge second half. Its probably happened and I'm not thinking of it, but it seems to be a pattern.

Were those shots open or contested? If they were contested, the main culprit is our defense.

Xavier wasn't sleepwalking in the first half. We were. Despite that, we had a 9 point lead at the half.
Yep many were. And how were we playing world class d while simultaneously sleep walking?

Need to weather this. Sloppy play the last 2 mins.

X sucks

But nice to see we can smash a team while not playing well.

Now we need to do something in road games

Ed travels.  A lot. Great moves but he has to learn to finish.

Moving too fast.

It is almost as if he is shocked the move worked so well and wanted to get contact too. He only makes the hard shots.

Could easily have 10 points today. Great D and rebounding today. Hopefully the O comes around.

Ed’s defense and ability to come down with the boards is pretty damn good though.

It's not the game moving too fast. It's like his mind and body aren't in sync.

Weird thing to warn about. I guess it blocks the view maybe?
