Kolek planning to go pro
Looks like it will be augers instead of outboards next weekend.http://www.duluthnewstribune.com/content/its-deja-vu-wisconsin-fishing-opener-nears
New Cabelas opened up yesterday in our town. 2000 people stood in line for the opening. One lady camped out overnight in a tent for the opening. I think I'll stroll over on Saturday and buy me a new bobber.
Probably could have got a better deal on the tent at the new Cabelas. Buddy is catching tons of smallmouth up to 21" in N. Central Wisco.I attached a photo to show you what I'm talking about. I blurred it to maintain his anonymity.
Very nice fish. This time of year, we can toss a bobber off the end of the dock with a crawler on an ultra light and catch some big smallies. Just a gas on the ultra light.
Some photos from the last two weeks. Tail end of the steel head run on the St. Joe. Still running up north in the Manistee, Muskegon, etc.And some photos of Smallmouth that we have targeted my last two trips, good numbers. 5 or 6 over 4 lbs.Havent targeted the Walleye at all. Work and kids, lol.
st monica?
You guys need to step up to the plate and fly fish
I know Tim. My guess is he is a relative. Tim's boy Colie played hoops at Marian with Demetrius Jackson (Notre Dame) and Robert Mischler (Cornell). Very Good team.
Keefe, as much as you like to read, pick up a couple of the books in the Old Duck Hunters series by Gordon MacQuarrie. You will soon be dreaming of wetting a fly at Wildcat Rapids or Mays Rips.
