Is there any truth to the rumor that Snaer has pushed back his visit? If so when? Also on FSU board we are not even mentioned as being in the hunt?

It's a push. Snaer is the one and only.

MUBasketball

Rumor is true. It's been pushed back to the following weekend.

Ready2Fly

What's going on that weekend?

MUBasketball

Nothing I know of, which makes it a big bummer. Al's Run would have been a good atmosphere for an official visit.

Hopefully he enjoys himself next weekend.

esotericmindguy

That doesn't sound good.  Then again neither does Florida State, so we'll see.

I'd be less worried about the date being pushed back and more worried that in the last few weeks his list has now expanded to Kansas and Memphis, and he may end up visiting them.

ChicosBailBonds

I will remain shocked if we get this kid.  Hope we do, but would be shocked.  Hopefully Buzz can pull it off, but this is going to be a tough get.

muarmy81

Agreed.
This guy will be a huge get, but tough to land.

Daniel

All true on the tough get.  But Marquette would be great for him - plays instanly, get's lots of National recognition in the BEast, TV, etc, and - we want him!

strobl2

If we get him that would boost our class way up, but like you guys said it will be a hard get.
Go Buzz!

Does anyone know if he said when he is going to make his decision.

Totally agree. Snaer is a real longshot.

Is Snaer Plan D at Kansas?  Looks like Wall, Cheek and Henry ahead of him on Self's wish list (although Henry supposedly warming to Memphis).  What about TT and Releford who are already at the 2?  Collins and Reed at PoG.  "No room at the Inn."

I am speculating that MU may be in better shape than we think--although Snaer has scheduled that visit to Kansas after us.

Collins would only be there for Snaer's freshman year, and he's a PG which isn't Snaer's position.  Assuming TT moves over to that position which was the plan, there's an open spot at SG....and if Snaer lives up to his hype, he's a better player than Releford.

Henry canceled his unofficial visit to Kansas, and has scheduled one to Memphis in addition to his official.  Most KU fans think that ship has sailed.  Cheek is a SF, not a guard.

Not saying we're out of it, but whenever the situation goes from a school not even being in the player's top 4 to getting an official visit within a few weeks, it's never a good sign.

Thanks BMA--I tend to agree about a longshot.  You always know your stuff.  Wall has to be anyone's top priority.  I rechecked this Kansas site as I have seen Cheek listed as either a SG there and a WG elsewhere.  He certainly is a tweener but they list him as a 2--and there is a Hurley connection on staff.

Also noted that there is a rumor tonight that Henry is in Lawrence today.  Edited:  Rumor is was.  Link taken down

Releford was a RSCI #49 vs. TT #73.  Reed was a #59 at PG.  I agree TT was undervalued, but he doesn't seem the prototypical 1 or 2--not good at a place like Kansas--although Self finds the PT.  One thing is for sure, Self is trying to reload the guards.  Still hoping for Snaer.  Hope is the key word.
