I did mechanical maintenance there the past 2 years.  The rooms are decent sizes...but i saw them in the summer when all the furniture was out.  Straz is a decent place to live.  And with the gym right there...its always convenient.

ah thanks.  Also, is it worth my while to bring my oscillating tower fan, or is the AC actually good?

Bring the fan. It's good when it's on, but they set it to heat for way too much of the year.

Yeah, in all dorms you'll be running the fan as much in the winter as in the summer.  I think I had a box fan running continuously from August until May, giving it a rest during winter break.

never used a fan, never needed one, it was always 100 times more comfortable in my room than outside
