Big East head to head against other conferences

It's incomplete and I'll have a bit more on the blog (can we link the blog here from this site or will it cause death and mayhem to children of Tibet?).

The Big East is down, as we all know and we all knew coming into this season.  No surprises.  Currently ranked 7th overall in the RPI.

I found some of our head to head records rather interesting.

0-5 against the Missouri Valley.  This is just one of many reason the MVC is 3rd
3-5 vs Big Ten
22-20 vs BCS conferences
9-5 vs ACC
12-5 vs A-10
5-4 vs Big 12
2-3 vs CUSA
1-2 vs Pac Ten
4-4 vs SEC
150-47 overall

Can not see the conference getting the 7-8 tourney bids that expectations were set at a few years back. Big East looks like a 5 maybe 6 bid conference out of 16 teams this year. Not very impressive.

I think 7 for the Big East this year, with no great seeds.

5 for the Big Ten unless things change, very top heavy conference.

MVC will probably get 5 this year as well which is incredible.  Doug Elgin has done an incredible job as Commissioner of that league, absolutely incredible.
