Official "Providence is a must win" thread

To have any realistic chance in the Big East, we MUST beat the Friars. Every road game in the BE is difficult, and we get Providence after they were waxed last night by FSU. Crucial to start out 1-0 in conference and get this team some confidence on the road. WE CANNOT LOSE!!!

Whether or not S. Curry plays will be huge.  He's their best player and was out against Florida St.

agreed - if we lose this game, I am selling my final four tickets.
You heard it here first. Davante Gardner will be a Beast this year.

I would be stunned if Curry doesn't play.  They are a completely different team without them.

This year's Big East schedule for us has it where most of our "easier" games are at home and the tough ones on the road.  Providence is one where we might have a "chance" pull off a win and with 3 of the first 4 on the road, it would be nice to get that W.  It will be difficult, road conference games always are.

premature or otherwise this year's team has generated, a win vs. Providence is what good teams do. Therefore, a loss would just prolong the "slump" or maybe this year's Warrior team is not really very good.
