Now that MU is out of scholarships, where does Mr. Wilson play hoops?

VegasWarrior77

I voted "other" - Michigan State is my call.

MUONTOP

I would add Michigan State to that list.  They seem to have been the latest school to be recruiting the hardest and IMO where he'll end up.

MR.HAYWARD

gee that is a great poll considering he speaks highly of MSU and Izzo and his two good buddies there in every interview.

Chicos - I believe Illinois is out of scholarships for 2009.

I agree with others about adding Michigan State.

MSU has been added. The results have been reset

The next poll can be whether we think the recruiting class just signed is the best in 25 years...wait, no poll needed...it's a FACT.   ::)

I wonder if Buzz will continue to recruit Wilson in case Maymon does not qualify.  Wilson is not making his decision until next spring, and at that time it will be clear if Maymon is going to qualify.

TVDirector

I'd keep recruiting him.
Wilson knows there's no room at the MU Inn right now-
but what's the harm in keeping up on him- watching his games all of a mile away?- etc?
if things don't turn out as planned for either MU or Jamil, then there is always the potential for a hometown hero to stay local-
he still lists Wisconsin as of interest, yet they have no schollies, correct?

no reason not to stick around the lad for a while.

THEGYMBAR

Still say MU or UNC. Available scholarship is hardly a concern. Buzz can chase away a couple of stiffs after the season.

esotericmindguy

I agree gymbar, he'll either stay home or go to a big big name school like UNC or Duke.  From what I've read and seen of him he seems to like the glitz that goes along with CBB.

Also heard comments today from an impeccable source about the character and scholastic   make-up of both Bucyks and Lacy. Suffice it to say Buzz chose the right student when he gave the scholly to Dwight, not even close. Gained a new appreciation for Brent and his apparent value of human character. I wouldn't want the other on my team if he were the next coming of MJ.

If JW is to play ball out of state, the logical choice is MSU since he has Corie Lucious there, Izzo is obviously recruiting him hard and has put many players in the pros, he will be in post season play every year and with a big ten schedule it will be easier for his family to travel to games than if he were to opt for UNC or Duke  etc.
Once a warrior always a warrior.

4ever, why bash Lacy?  Leave the kid alone.  He is not coming to MU.  Live and let live.  Seems a bit mean spirited, don't you think?

No, just facts.

So, as long as it is factual, you can say whatever you want about a 16 or 17 year old kid?  Real nice. :-\
