Anyone have any insight on how the Junior Cadougan visit went?
Once a warrior always a warrior.

MR.HAYWARD

apparently had a great vist and Mu was hoping for a commit during the visit.  he and his coach were really high on MU.  however, he has a scheduled visit to Memphis and really wants to go on it.  Does not appear he is a prioroty with them as gaddy is the target with pastner now being there.

Thanks Mr. Hayward. Since Junior played on the same team as Maymon in the Bob Gibbons camp, with a fellow Canuck on board (McMorrow) and a decent visit I was hoping for a verbal. I agree with your assessment that he is not a priority for Memphis and more of a seconday option for them since they are probably the team to beat for Gaddy because of the Pastner connection.

Don't have information about the visit, but if you believe what's on the internet, Susie says he'll commit to MU tomorrow :)

As for Susie's tidbit, the selling price was a cool $1,399,000 ( although $100,000 below the listing price ).  FWIW on a slow day.

I would say PG John Wall is the #1 priority for Memphis. He's basically a more lanky version of Derrick Rose(Wall actually really resembles Rajon Rondo most IMO). I wish we could land one of these stud players that come around like this. Wall is a blur on the basketball court. You can just tell the kids that will be special. I remember watching Rose in high school and you knew by watching him one time he was a sure fire lottery pick if he stayed healthy. Here's Wall's profile with some videos. Check this kid out:

Is there any news regarding the two recruits from New York who were to be on campus on June 26th?

Thanks

wampum77 - update on Omari Lawrence and Kevin Parrom, the two kids from New York, as mentioned on zagsblog.net..

"They liked the visit (to Marquette) but not enough to make a commitment," Charles (their AAU coach/advisor) said. "They still want to see some other places. They're scheduled to take an unofficial next week to Virginia for their Elite Camp. They will also visit camps at UConn and Louisville this August.

Charles said Parrom was close to committing to Xavier, "but his father said, 'We should allow other teams an opportunity also.

Would be very surprised if either still has any interest in MU.

Those Kids from NYC want something fresh.  When you step off the plane and smell the combination of beer and slaughter house, it may be too much like home.
You heard it here first. Davante Gardner will be a Beast this year.
