Can we now finally end the comparisons of Kobe Bryant to MJ?

Ridiculous that it was ever even brought up.

I've never compared Kobe Bryant to Michael Jordan. They are both excellent players and the best of their generations, but Michael will always be in a class all by himself. Not only was Michael THAT much better than anyone while he played, he made his teammates better whenever he was on the court. Scottie Pippen would not have been the player he was if it were not for MJ.

That's my dos pesos.

Is Kobe Bryant even the best of this generation??

With Michael Jordan, there was no question who the best was... now

LeBron James
Kevin Garnett
Chris Paul
Tim Duncan
Shaq(up until the last few years)
Dwyane Wade when healthy
Kobe Bryant
  - these are just a few that have a say in best of this generation
Kobe Bryant is an arrogant player, team killer(how many rings could he have if he would have let Shaq stay)....

never should he be compared to MJ, and I dispise the Bulls, they are from Chicago for goodness sakes.

Lebron's not even close to Kobe, Wade had 1 year where you can argue he was better than Kobe, KG is consistently great but still not up to Kobe's par, Shaq you could make a case for back then, Tim Duncan is very solid but not sure he's as good as Kobe (put him on a different team and does that team do as well as the Spurs have done with him?), Chris Paul had a great year this year but you can't even make an argument so far that he's better than Kobe.  Kobe is the best of this generation, and I'm saying this while absolutely hating Kobe.

why is Kobe the best of this generation?  What has he accomplished...

he finally won 1 MVP... he won 3 rings back when he wasn't the best on his team, lets face it, he killed the Lakers the couple years before this year.  The man is a great player, don't get me wrong, but is he the best of this generation, possibly, but it isn't a clear answer.  Take Duncan off the Spurs and what do you get?  A different team with the best PF to ever play the game.  Tim Duncan does nothing to wow you, but he does everything right, plays defense, takes smart shots, passes well, rebounds.

Kobe scores.  And hates on his team mates.
