Is this our likely partial away schedule this coming season? No dates yet, of course. Just based on who we played at home in 07-08:
@ Georgetown
@ Pitt
@ USF (Tampa in January/February!)
@ DePaul
@ Seton Hall
@ Rutgers
@ Louisville (mirror game?)
@ ND (mirror?)
@ Providence
Pre-planning a road trip purposes, plus it's quiet again.

I believe there are three mirror games (last year was Louisville, ND, and Seton Hall, if my reading skills aren't failing me), but who those are against depends upon tv, projected standings and, to a lesser extent, rivalries.

Beyond that, no idea.

We had Louisville two years and a row as a mirror team, so I expect them not to be a mirror team again. We always had one repeat mirror team. If you rule out Louisville and the fact that we have had Notre Dame twice as a mirror team in three years that leaves Seton Hall as the repeat team. I think our other mirror teams will be DePaul and Cincinatti. It will be interesting to see if MU will be in high demand for TV. We were not competitive in some of the road games last year and with a new coach, I suspect there are enough other great teams in Big East that we will not be high priority.

I am really hoping for a trip down to Tampa this winter for MU.  Great excuse to go down and visit a buddy down there.  I am hoping for a mid to late February trip.  Hopefully a game at Depaul too.  Could be a great year for MU road trips with the post-Thanksgiving trip, possibility of playing at Depaul, etc.

I was actually at the MU-USF game in Tampa in January 2007 -- the game McNeal stole the pass with the score tied and hit a lay-up as time expired. The USF arena reminds me of the Milwaukee Arena, now the "Cell." For the game in 2007, the place was half full (about 5,000 fans) and about one-third were MU fans. The USF arena is tucked into their campus off a strip mall type highway -- very nondiscript. Makes you appreciate the downtown location of the Bradley Center and being able to walk in from the surrounding bars and restaurants. Regardless, the MU-USF game at USF is a great mid-winter escape.

I was there as well. Happy to see one of the improvements being that although it is an on campus facility, they still sell beer there.
I think the Arena is still a better facility than the SunDome, or whatever it is called now. Without an external passage way, it seems like a high class high school arena.
But again, they sell beer, so all sins are forgiven.
The reception before the game was ok. Nice that is is on site. We should have a large contingent again down there. Unless I am on a work related trip, I am in.

Wow if thats the case, it looks like once again we will have a tough road game slate.  (Hopefully ND will actually have to play tough games away from the Joyce center).

As for mirror opponents...I would rather not have SHU.  I would hope we get:
-ND
-UL
-DePaul

The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.

Forgive me for asking, but what is a "mirror game."

Also, don't forget about Nashville it would be a good location for a road trip and it is around an 8 hour drive from Milwaukee.  The game is on a weekend, and the downtown area has a heavy concentration of bars, much like Milwaukee.  The only difference would be the addition of lots of live music.

Mirror games are the three teams we play twice in conference play.

Also, if you can convince my boss that Tuesday is part of the weekend, I'll see ya in Nashville  ;)

My bad, I was misinformed by a local Vols fan.  That's what I get for not researching it myself.
