Alright, I am having a motivational crisis today, so was checking out the SI website, and came across page seeking nominations for best looking female collegiate athlete -- for those so inclined, the same is going on for male athletes -- and saw that Allie's daughter was nominated.  She certainly merits consideration!

Very easy on the eye.  :o

Wonder if Terri Mitchell tried to recruit her. Actually, maybe Crean should have.  She shoots 44% on 3s.

Marquette was a finalist for Brenna.  She decided that she didn't want to play under her grandfather's shadow, and playing in a building named after him would certainly do that.  Also, she wanted to play in the ACC and fell in love with Virginia's campus.  I don't blame her.

Virginia did play @ Marquette last year.  It was a big story that she was coming to play @ the Al.  I've watched a ton of her games on Fox Sports.  She has range.  Teams game plan for her.  So, some games, she doesn't score a lot of points.  However, she is still making an impact on her team, since her defender can not help off of her.  In fact, during her sophomore year, Georgia Tech would no let her see the ball and placed a defender on her whose name people would recognize.  It was Nnamaka's little sister.

Thank God she didn't take on the McGuire features!!!  ;D

I was following the coverage on the UVA-MU game at the AL. She got a lot of pub. So did the AL... ;)

Didn't know about the Nnmaka connection!!! Thanks!

If the girl Matt Leinert knocked up was still playing... there wouldn't be a contest, she was gorgeous...but a preppy pretty boy QB got to her :)

Anybody have any idea what happened to that coach at Fresno State from a couple of years ago?

As for that list, any list that does not include Jennie Finch, Natalie Gulbis and Amanda Beard is seriously flawed!

I believe the contest only includes current college athletes, and if she's still playing there's a girl on the Oklahoma basketball team that should blow away all the competition.  Unfortunately I cannot remember  her name.

Well, you got me to look, and honestly compels me to report that doesn't narrow it down enough for me. Interesting team on the floor, too, with Hakeen Olajuwon's daughter and the two daughters of Bubba Paris on the team. Not a bad team either IIRC. Remember them hammering DePaul pretty good earlier in the season, and I know the Blue Demons are pretty good this year.

She's redshirting this year and planning on coming back to play next season.  Efueko Osagie-Landry of Marquette redshirted last year due to pregnancy but that didn't get quite the national attention since dad Marcus Landry isn't quite as well known nationally as Matt LI have a toothachert :-).

Carlee Roethlisberger - Ben's little sister is an incoming recruit for next season also.  Courtney Paris is the better of the Paris twins and is a double-double machine and great player as a sophomore.  Marquette has an Oklahoma connection as Kelly Lam (daughter of former MU player Guy Lam) played her frosh year at Oklahoma and then transferred to MU.  She's in her first year of eligibility at MU.  She got nice minutes last night as starting forward Jasmine McCullough sat out the game with injury - Lam had a career high 17 points on 4-4 shooting from the field and 9-9 shooting from the line.

By the way, there are a lot of men who follow women's bball who find OU coach Sherri Coale very attractive...

I believe this is the Oklahoma women's basketball player who is getting the most attention on the list.  Krista Sanchez.

Marquette Fan you are right, the Coach is attractive too.  But I was especially impressed by the successful Gerry Faust-esque jump from Norman, OK High School to the head coach at OU -- followed by a final four appearance 6 years later.

That's a HORRIBLE picture of Brynn, this one is much better.

Speaking of which, with child support and taking Matt's salary into account, she's got to be one of the highest paid non professional women players in the country next year.

Geno Auriemma - the UCONN coach is partially to thank for that at least according to UCONN fans :-).  He really went to bat for Coale - Stacy Hansmeyer played for Coale at Norman High and Geno had recruited her to goto UCONN.  She has done a phenomenal job at OU especially considering the University had announced it was discontinuing women's basketball in 1990.  Under pressure from other coaches, they reinstated the program in 1990 and then Coale was hired in 1996.  They made it to the NCAA championship game in 2002 when current ESPN commentator Stacey Dales was a senior.

There's something attractive about a woman in a basketball jersey and a ball in her hand. (no double-entendre suggested here, you pervs)  ;)

Let's spin it a bit - Marquette Style.

Currently, I'd say Erin Monfre.

These other girls are my friends, but I'll say they are all very attractive as well.

Heidi Bowman(who is now married to jon Harris)

Katie O'Grady

Lesley Juedes

Becky Stieber

Kelly Auger(who is married to Mike Kelley, so her name is Kelly kelley)

I don't have a pic of her

Lisa Oldenburg

Monfre is definitly a looker, if I had a picture of Claire Barnhardt I'd put that up, she was a hottie as well.  Loved it when she was in my communications classes with me.

That would be Clare Barnard and here is a picture of her that's in this year's media guide:

Since we're talking hoops, I'd say Monfre too.

I remember Lisa Oldenburg. Real nice, down to earth girl. Great smile.
I also remember Clare Barnard. She had more of a hotter build.

I think we overlooked the guard that transferred in from Purdue.

Although they don't play for Marquette, I always found Travis Diener's sisters attractive, Brittney more than Rachel, maybe just because they were from the famous Diener family, and were always shown on TV.
