TRAVIS FRICKEN DIENER!
« on: December 21, 2006, 08:55:50 AM »
In one week, Diener has gone from watching on the bench in street clothes to the finishing point guard. Diener had 11 points and a team-high four assists and one turnover in 29 minutes, including all 12 minutes in the decisive fourth quarter of an 81-74 victory against the Cavaliers on Saturday night.

His minutes per game have increased each of the last 5 games, with only 2 total turnovers.  So damn happy for the kid.

All he needed was a chance, and it looks like he has gotten one.

Now, if we could only get Steve a few minutes....

Houston doesnt strike me as a good opportunity for Steve.  He would be much more suited for a seattle type team.  The rockets coach knows one thing - Yao and Tracy - sort of like his Ewing - allan houston strategy.

You heard it here first. Davante Gardner will be a Beast this year.
