Unavailable for summer play.

Hope Travis heals quickly and fully!

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Travis Diener underwent surgery to remove bone spurs from his left big toe Wednesday, the Pacers announced. Rehabilitation from the surgery, which was performed at Indiana Orthopedic Hospital is expected to take three months. That timeline would make him unavailable for summer-league play in July but allow for a full recovery well before training camp opens in October.
In his third NBA season but first with the Pacers, Diener averaged 6.9 points, 3.8 assists and 20.5 minutes in 66 games, including 21 starts. As a starter, he averaged 10.0 points and 5.8 assists. Diener's assists-to-turnovers ratio of 4.56:1 ranked fourth in the NBA.

Diener, 26, signed as a free agent with the Pacers after spending his first two seasons with the Orlando Magic, totaling 49 appearances and averaging 3.8 points. He was relatively injury free, missing two games in December with a sore left shoulder and one in mid-February with pain in his right foot and ankle. The left foot injury came late in the year, causing him to miss the final regular-season game.
