I believe MU is out now that Crean is at IU.

Maurice Creek is a 6ft 4in shooting guard from Oxon Hill, Md.  He played his sophomore year at Oxon Hill HS, which is in the Prince Georges County League, a highly competitive conference outside Washington, D.C.  Numerous players have come from this league, most recently Beasley, Durant and Sam Young. I believe he averaged around 23 points a game and then transferred to South Kent in Conn.  Creek is an absolutely outstanding shooter and is being heavily targeted by Pitt (who recruits everyone), Texas (who are probably losing both their starting guards), Maryland(who just signed transfer Tyree Evans and has Grevious Vazquez and Eric Hayes, both sophomores as their guards) and MU, well under the old staff.  I presume Creek is still being pursued by us based upon his shooting ability and I certainly hope so.  We will need a shooter in 2009, but we are in on so many highly rated 2009 prospects, Buzz will have his travel cut out for him. But thats why he was hired, to sign these high recruits who are actually showing interest.  Creek would be an exceptional player to go along with Eric Williams.

If Buzz continues to recruit Creek and was somehow able to land him I would be a very happy supporter.

Creek is an outstanding talent.
