I read in Rosiak's interview that someone referred to Buzz's habit of drinking sweet tea and one of our posters said something about Lipton or Nestea (I guess it was the Tribune article that referenced a sale on tea at Walgreens).  Well, having lived in the South for 25 years now, I promise you comparing canned iced tea to "sweet tea" in the South is like comparing Milwaukee's Best to a finely crafted microbrew.  I know there are plenty of posters on here who can back me on that.

In an attempt to make sure that the grammatically deficient do not preach on the virtues of grammar, I thought I might make a few "grammar" suggestions.

"Okay everyone, it's "a lot" not "alot." This is Grammar 101 stuff.  There is [n]o such word as alot, although allot is a word. The word "allot" is defined as: "to divide or distribute by share or portion; distribute or parcel out; apportion: to allot the available farmland among the settlers."  I have yet to read a post here where anyone would need to use the word "allot."

EDIT: I am going to try this again, with red marking the changes just for clarification. There are a couple other changes that could be made, but these were the major grammar issues.

11:41 on a Friday night and it's past your bedtime?  Exciting life you've got there.

Kinda sore and tired after three straight hours of a non-stop threesome (two females and myself) so yeah I'm tired and it is past my bedtime.  It was "alot" of fun and I had nothing to "loose".  I'm not sure how you could judge how exciting my life is, but so be it.  It was 12:41 EST where I live by the way.

Regarding your quotation correction above, in this case, Romey is correct.  See this point on American style below:

If single quotation marks are used to signify a special term, the period is placed outside the quotation marks.

Doug was not familiar with the word 'apposition'.
