Arizona board says he isn't coming, but who knows how credible that is.

That was just one guy stating his opinion.  There was no inside info.  If we pulled this off, it would be great.

I was in heaven at the BC for the regionals years ago when Texas, Tulsa, USC, and others played..., cheerleader heaven.

Like I said, who knows about the credibility.

As for the cheerleaders....come on guys.  Simple.  Warm weather = hot women.  Very simple formula. As a native Texan and someone who has lived in California for 20+ years along with over a decade in Wisconsin, Ohio, Indiana and Kansas....warmth = where the hot women live (and for that matter, where a lot of people live in general).

So was I....I got to work the event and had to escort the cheerleaders back and forth....it was a tough job, but someone had to do it.   ;D

He has secured a lot of big commitments from high ranked Houston players-Jawaan McClellan, Fendi Onubon and Nic Wise.  They were all pretty highly ranked and have turned out to be overrated.

Not trying to steal the thread, but have to disagree on this assessment of Onubun and Wise. Onobun -- too early to tell IMHO. Wise was a fine player for U of A this year. I'd agree with your assessment of McClellan.

With regard to McClellan he did have some injury issues that slowed him down. Both he and Olsen mentioned how he was half the athlete after his injuries and the time recovering took a lot out of him.

Semi-fair point on McClellan. Was just expecting him to be a big-time player and he never turned out to be.

Buzz will be recruiting the cheerleaders now too.  It's in his contract.

From his U of A bio:

"Pastner received his undergraduate degree in two‑and‑a‑half years, and his master's degree the following year, and started work on his doctorate. In his role as an undergraduate assistant in 2000-01, Pastner began pursuit of another undergraduate degree."

Damn. Dude's got some smarts.
