Sounds a lot like Amoroso. Wonder how he'll feel after Judas bolts IU for the next best job...It's MSU...It's MSU

I don't get the whole MSU thing. I don't think Crean is dying to get back to MSU as much as people think.

Consider this:
1. TC not an MSU alum and obviously didn't play there.
2. He grew up in Mt. Pleasant, MI and attended Central Mich. alos in Mt.P. Despite the name, Mt. Pleasant is not so Pleasant and Mid-Michigan is not a place that a lot of people are dying to get back to.
3. Michigan is awful right now. Unemployment, recession, inept state and local governments. I doubt the Creans, especially Joani, are too excited to build a home in the "pleasant penninsula."
4. He would be following a legend and his mentor. Awfully big shoes to fill.
5. Said mentor reportedly would not choose TC as his replacement. Izzo has a lot of pull at MSU. Hell, a lot of fans/alums seriously wanted him to coach football too. If Crean did get the job without Izzo's support, he would have some serious obstacles to overcome. Sort of like Leno replacing Carson.

All things considered, I really don't think Crean will bolt to MSU if he is succesful at IU.

I think the positive here is that the decision came early. There is plenty of time for Buzz to concentrate his efforts eleswhere. We need to find out early which potential recruits were interested in Crean or Marquette.
