The Trevor Mbakwe Situation

Folks, I've been thinking about this Mbakwe situation, and what has occurred over the past season.

What we know (fact):
1.) He was out of the season.
2.) Came back against Pitt because he didn't want to stay four more years.
3.) He took home a glowing piece of the Aggro-Crag on Nickelodeon GUTS. He beat out 10-year-old Brian "The Dodger" Rogers and 9-year-old Sean "Smiley" Riley.

What we have heard (rumor):
1.) He wanted to transfer, no matter what Crean did, because he was homesick.
2.) He was going to transfer after Crean left.
3.) He is staying at Marquette after Crean left.
4.) He wanted to start playing again so he could transfer.
5.) He is the reason why Waldo is hiding.

I'm making my personal assumption that Mbakwe is staying, and that he is staying because Crean is gone. It seemed like he was gone with Crean here, but has since changed his mind.

What does this say for Crean? Mbakwe was his best big man recruit, and he wanted to leave under Crean. If Mbakwe stays, this could really say a lot for what he thinks Buzz can offer him in the future.

Either way, big men and Crean don't mix.

Was Mbakwe really on Guts?  Does anyone have any video of this? I'd love to see it

Haha... No, Trevor was not on GUTS (at least not that any of us actually know of), but he was the subject of the longest thread in MUScoop history.

Trevor was most definitely on GUTS.  On the show, he was referred to as The Aggro Crag.

Mbakwe single-handily killed Moria Quirk's acting career after she docked him 5 seconds on the rowing course.
