So .. it's an auction whereby a MU student is in debt and wants someone to bail him out.  Crazy.

Amazing that, after 2 years of Juco, then 4 years of MU, then 2 (?) years to get his masters .. for a total of 8 years .. he's in debt?  Big shock there.

That Masters degree in engineering should land him squarely in upper-middle class life, where that loan can be afforded, and he'll even be able to afford to replace those shoes he has holes in.

Choosing MU is a personal choice, something he adds "I know I made the mistake of attending a very expensive university..".

In the end, education is the best investment he'll ever make.   He'll do just fine.

When I started to read it I had the feeling he was a Cubs fan.  And his feedback proved me right.

What a whiner. I mean I had help from parents, but if he worked real hard and has a degree in engineering he should be able to pay most of it off. He could also choose graduated plans in order to make it more affordable rigth now. Something is fishy here.

Just because he is selling Cubs tickets doesn't mean he is a Cubs fan.  A friend of mine from Cleveland buys seats to best Cubs games he can get the day they go on sale and then sells them for profit on eBay.  He doesn't actually give a damn about the Cubs.

The guy is probably a Cardinal fan since he is from Saint Louis.

Hmmm, most employers will foot a big chunk of grad school in exchange for a committment from the employee.

Something is wrong there. A structural undergrad should be making 48k-52k a year. He should easily have enough money.

From his post on ebay....

A:   Hello R, You did indeed read that price correctly. I am only selling these tickets for what I paid for them ($76). I am a true Cubs fan and hate it when individuals try to make a profit from scalping tickets.

What a crapbag.  If he's so hard up for money maybe he should sell his Chubs tickets for more money.

Cubs fans don't deserve to be bailed out for their own poor money management.
