with Sampson.  The basketball program is a disaster at IU.  Apparently, the only two main players who were going to class were DJ White and Gordon.  Allegedly, when Ellis was suspended for the Penn State game, he informed the coaches he was going to Chicago and bringing back some of his boys to "talk" with the interim coach.......

Greenspan is like Isiah Thomas.  He can't lose his job despite his best efforts at ineptitude.

Greenspan is not being held responsible for the Sampson hire becuase he is not the guy that wanted him the IU president wantrd him and pushed for him around Greensapan to the IU trustees.  So he gets the pass.

I realize that, but while Sampson was on campus there has to be oversight by compliance, etc and that ultimately falls on the AD.
