Focus changes to 2008 recruits.

Nothing can be done and not much more can be said about the Buzz Williams hiring.

The next off-season questions pertain to the loss of 2008 recruits. Retaining Buzz does not affect TT leaving (especially given the comments about him only coming here to be coached by Crean).  Nick Williams is probably gone as well.  My guess is Fulce and O'tule stay.  Unfortunately, this is probably what would have happened if Buzz was not hired. I am guessing we should find out in the next week or so whether we have released TT and Williams. Does anyone think differently? 

Also, if we release them, that leaves two open scholarships.  Any names besides BenEze?

Well, if Trevo transfers it leaves 2 open right?  We were one over before.

If TT does not come to MU, I think it will be Hurley talking him out of it.  Hurley liked Crean.  From the comments TT made, he liked Buzz a lot.  So who knows.  I think Nick and Erik (2009) are both gone, but let's see how good a recuiter Buzz is - maybe he can re-recruit his recruits.

Eric Williams was recruited by Buzz, the TEXAS connection.  Why would he consider not signing an LOI to MU in the fall now that Buzz is the Head Coach, as oppossed to an assistant coach, his previous role at MU.  If Buzz cannot keep Eric Williams, from TEXAS, then that is a sign of trouble to come.

Yes, I WHOLEHEARTEDLY agree.  I have my misgivings about Buzz, for sure, but this should be his #1 priority, since I believe it is the only reason he was hired.  If he can't get these recruits to stay on, then I am definitely going to be pissed.

I thought TT said the only way he would even think about still coming to MU is if Buzz is the coach, so hopefully he decides to stay here
