No question Rosiak has authored the best local coverage MU has had in years, but.......where is he now??  Not only with the "Buzz" about tomorrow's press conference, but it seems he was a bit behind in the breaking news on Crean's departure.  Why??

🏀

Maybe he's enjoying his life at home with his family? I expect the national writers to pick up on this first considering A.) They are covering the championship and B.) Williams' camp leaked the news to the big guys.

I've been wondering about that also. He hasn't really been out in front of this story since day one. Basically has been reporting what had already been reported elsewhere.

THEGYMBAR

He and MU AD are awaiting word from Dick Strong on who TC hand picked. Complete joke on coverage.

groove

He must have seen the Fox Sports report. On the ball.

For me, this is what bothers me about the hire.  If the administrations goal was to find "stability", then this is the only hire.  But what about finding the right guy, the best coach available?  Are we buying stability for the short term at the expense of sustained ability to succeed that only the right coach can provide?

That undoubtedly caught the eye of MU administrators, who were looking for a coach who could not only maintain a sense of stability in a program rocked by Crean's unexpected departure[/b

does he mention his traveling schedule and having to file stories late into the night after games out east?

I'll be interested to see the terms of the contract.  Did they go for stability with a short contract to try to salvage the recruits, and give him a chance to prove himself?  Or did they make a long commitment to him, confident that he is the guy?

I don't know what the money will be, but I can't imagine its less than 4 yrs or more than 6.  Its got to be 5 - just for stability, right?  And isn't stability what its all about?

It's 6 years, no money numbers released yet (if ever)
