buzz and recruiting

Crean was brougt in as an up and coming coach with a talent for recruiting. However he is not much of a bench coach even at this point in his career. ( I vividly rememeber Buckley having to tell Crean to take out Burke during the end of the Ken. game when they started to foul him exclusivley.) My point being Buzz has almost no coaching exp. but has already proven he is a better recruiter than Crean. If there is no drop off in coaching( and how could that be possible?) and Buzz can land better recruits?????? why not take the chance?

I think you should stop kicking Raymonds. He had to follow McGuire who left him with a senior laden team and only one incoming recruit Robert Byrd. By the time he turned the team over to Majerus the team had highly rated players at all positions. He also recruited the only McDonald's all-american to attend MU. His winning percentage was 71.6%w hich was worse than McGuire's 78.7% but significantly better than the coaches that folowed him:
Majerus 61.5%
Dukiet  45.9%
O'Neill  58.1%
Dean 64.5%
Crean 66%
