Coach Al said this and he was right on the money! Nothing lasts forever, I never thought the Pabst or Schlitz breweries would stop making the Milw air smell good, Or the 'lanch , gym , ardmore, or midget tavern would disappear. The Brooks Union or Marquette Stadium would be gone. These were part of my MU. TC was good while it lasted  .  What really ticks me off  is the BS he spread about buying into him and his program when it now seems pretty obvious he never bought into us.  So thanks TC for the fun! but as the English are fond of saying "PISS OFF" Tom, MU was here before you, and will still be here when you are reduced to worm turds.

 TC and I arrived at MU the same year and I had never really paid attention to a basketball game in my life.    I was patrolling the Old Gym because I briefly worked for Public Safety and TC came up to me and said "You going to the game tomorrow night?"   I said, "I don't know.   Who are you playing?"    He replied, "Chicago State.   They're a tough team and I think it'll be a great game."    I told him that any game against Chicago St had better not be a tough game and he laughed as he walked off.
