I don't understand why Drew is not high on our list...

- the guy can recruit
- coaches in an elite conference
- from Midwest
- turned around a program in huge turmoil in Baylor
- obviously likes private, Christian schools with Baylor & Valpo
- appears to run a clean program
- likes a fast-pace offensive game
- good pedigree (Homer Drew)
- probably only makes $500,000 a year or so

He may be a good coach, but his stats are nothing special

- 57-80 record at Baylor
- it took five seasons to get to his first winning season
- even that was only one game over .500 in conference
- Finishes of 12th, 11th, 12th, 11th, 4th.
- Has never won an NCAA tournament game.
- Upset by the last place team in the B12 in their tournament.

That program couldn't have possibly been worse off when he took it over.   Very few programs have ever been in worse shape than was Baylor 5yrs ago.

I'm from Valpo and I'll say no.  Scott hasn't proven he can win consistenly yet.
