i love espn, and i love espn.com, but sometimes they are just off their rocker. point in case is this article. sometimes i wonder if the white collars at espn are feeding their crack baby journalists a steady diet of dillusional drugs that give them these crazy ideas. thought, comments, concerns?

Forget about the article, they had a two hour show on either tonight or last night about it.
If you can't be an athlete, be an athletic supporter.

PuertoRicanNightmare

Ali was a great boxer, but his deification of the last 10 or 15 years is embarrassing. The one and only reason anybody considers him "the greatest" is because he used to claim it over and over. I know one thing he likely "invented" -- self promoting, loud mouth athletes. That should be his legacy.

hah, ya i forgot about the tv thing they did. let the man's legacy speak for itself, ya he was loud, ya he was obnoxious, but he was the greatest boxer every...espn doesn't need to come up with these ridiculous claims to try to make themselves and athletes look groundbreaking ALL THE TIME. if espn wrote the history books, chad johnson would've created the term in english known as "creativity", circa 2002. interesting question, if espn wrote the history books, what great inventions (along with ali creating rap) would athletes be given credit for?
give me something funny to come back to for finals week

And besides, everyone knows who really invented rap...
