Did/has Crean even contacted our recruits???

Does anyone know if word has come out that he has contact MU's recruits to explain to them why he is abandoning them?

don't know, but if the overall situation is any indicator (didn't contact his players, admin, media, etc), then my assumption would be no.

He better not be contacting them now. That's a violation. Although, I hear violations are kind of par for the course nowadays in Bloomington.

At this point, I wouldn't want him to.  He wouldn't tell them what you're hoping he would - he would try to sell them Indiana basketball.  At least the uncommitted ones.  The committed ones he has no reason to talk to right now.

I agree. I wouldnt want him talking to them now. Also, if he didnt talk to his team, the university or anyone, I am not surprised that he didnt explain the situation to his recruits. That speaks volumes about him. I mean he sold the school and the program to these players. What does that say nationally about these guy who will promise the world to you, then leave without telling you. I think Crean lost some trust as far a recruiting stand point, or at least I hope he lost the trust.
