i was 4 in 1987, but if all those things happen I'd guess it would be the worst few months in MU sports history.

i never thought id say this, and i mean ever, but atleast we'd still get to go to the BE tournament

I was 18 years old and a freshman at Marquette University....and the basketball team sucked balls.  Tony Reeder was academically ineligible, we played at the MECCA, it was bad.

I wonder if we'll hear from those "privileged" MU fans who complain when we don't go 16-0 in the BE and advance to the sweet 16 every year...see, we had things pretty good.  I hope someone can come in and right the ship...I'm glad MU Basketball has gotten to where it is today and that most fans expect success but it hasn't always been that way and you got to give Crean alot of credit for getting us where we are now.  Again, hopefully someone can come in and continue to build off our success.

Wait and see what happens in 2 seasons.  If we lose these recruits, the new coach better start signing people quickly or that's going to be a looooong year - and Crean gets 100% credit for that too.
