he is only interested in the Tennessee job.  Isn't that code for he is willing to listen to offers and will be moving soon??

That's how I interpreted it.     He could come out and say "I'm 1000% sure I'm staying at Tennessee" and it would mean that he's willing to listen to the school with the deepest pockets

Yeah, what kind of coach issues statements about being happy at his current job when there were no offers from other schools? Maybe he's looking for an extension?

I can't think of any other situation where something like that has occurred...oh, wait...I remember one guy doing something like that EVERY GOD DAMN YEAR!!

And look...he parlayed that into an 8 year deal at IU. He outsmarted Marquette University and Athletics.
