Myself included- Crean's teams have always shown their most improvement over the semester break. With the rules on practices lifted for a month, late December and January is where we have seen a ton of improvement. This time might be exactly what this team needs to get back on track. Guys will have more time to shoot, more practice time together, and the chance to gel some more while playing games that aren't as pressure packed. Look for Hayward to really come into his own during this time, things are starting to click and the shots he has missed will fall come January.

A little optimism to start the week. Now back to finals for me...

That is when Novak started to heat up as a freshman and that's also when we knocked off UCONN.  It's not out of the realm of possibility for this team to get on track over the break.
