Holy cripes what a tough loss

I'll say this...I'm more disappointed than upset and I can't even imagine how the team feels.

We played a fantastic game yesterday. I thought our seniors -- Fitgerald and Barro -- came up HUGE yesterday. The bottom line is that I think we lost because we are just smaller physically. We were not smaller emotionally, that's for sure. We hustled our balls off yesterday and just came up short. I can't remember being more proud of a team in a loss than that one. For you younger posters, I'm quite certain that this game, despite it being a loss, can be put in the "legendary" column. You'll be talking about it for years.

Ditto.  We played like we belonged there.  64 of the 65 teams will lose eventually.  The team played like the warriors they are.

I'm very proud of this team... as PRN said, they showed tremendous heart, the heart of true Warriors.  For that, we can all be proud of their effort yesterday.

Amazing game. I'm so proud of this team. We deserved to win, played our asses off. I'm going to miss Ousmane around campus. Well played boys, hopefully this motivates us for next year and shows us what we can do when we go balls to the wall.

Tough loss but they played extremely tough.

We missed the jump shots so it is easy to say we should have driven to the basket. However, driving to the basket against a 7 footer does not sound like a good decision either and I have a feeling if we had done that we would be questioning why we did, because the end result would have been the same.
