Since those east of Rockford will only get the ND game continuous, is there a central hub for the MU faithful in Lake County, IL?  BW3 in Round Lake Beach was a littttle disappointing.  Are people watching the game anywhere special around there?

what was disappointing? Are bw3's showing all of the games. There is one in vernon hills.

the sauce to surface area ratio was a little low for me . . . and kentucky looked GREEN on the one big projector screen they had . . . vernon hills was just farther away from my friend's place.  but i'm willing to try somewhere more local and not just chains, too. :)

Durty Nellies in Palatine

not a bad place.. been like 5 years since I was there though at least.. used to go watch packer games there.. never seemed like they had heat on in the winter though.

If you go and get hungry, skip across the street.. there's a hole-in-the-wall type mexican place.. literally.. cannot even remember the name of it.. just that the salsa was very good... burritos too.
Once a warrior always a warrior.. even if the feathers must now come with a beak.

thanks for the suggestions! think we might go to The Cubby Bear in lincolnshire, although might just try to hook up my laptop to the 42" screen in the living room

Go Marquette!

I haphazardly chose BuffaloWings on Hwy 60 in Vernon Hills South side of road between Butterfield Road and Hwy 45) on Thr, and was happily surprised by the large MU crowd. No Chicago interest in Purdue game there, as 40+ MUers of all ages took over Bar - MU on most TVs, as well as audio. Spoke to Manager, and he was impressed with the turnout. So that is my report.

Now, my question is how it will be at Sat dinnertime with ND on also? Other problem is that they didn't seem to be able to control their tvs well... so if you show up early to camp out, your chosen tv may not be the ones(s) our game is shown on.
