could we play any worse?

another frustrating first half.  we are clearly the better, deper team but we are playing poorly.  Mathews is killing us.  oh well, it's only the NCAA tournament!  venting.

Totally agree...I guess the only good news is that they are up by 4.  Very disappointing 1st half.  They can't play much worse in the second but they should be up a dozen right now....I'm concerned!

To answer your question, absolutely. Look at that UNLV-Kent St score and remember last year, for example.
We're 9-12 from the line. We're attacking, we're not giving up much to them on the glass defensively. We could be playing much worse. I will take a 4 point lead at the half. Now let's go out and blow their doors off.

We are throwing up some pretty bad shots and I hate watching ousmane on defense...he thinks he is a guard half the time.

Blow them out?  Hell we can't put any bunny shots in, we are going to be in for another tight half.  I think MU wins out, but they are not going to blow them out playing like this.

I guess the game is different on tv.  Kentucky is a very good defensive team and forcing us into some tough offensive sets.  But we are attacking, getting to the line.

This exactly how I thought it would go....ky goes for a game in the 50's or 60's and hopes to win.  That's smart strategy by them.

We need to get some steals.  Ky has some guys in foul trouble

Go mu

No, they certainly won't blow them out based on this first half.  I think McNeal and Hayward were our only bright spots in the 1st half.  We need to make the easy baskets down low and force some turnovers and get the fast paced game going.

Been watching the start of the second half?  The answer to your question is a clear, resounding yes.  Matthews is awful in this game.

How about we finish a fast break????  We can not score in transition despite numerous opportunities.  Let's make a "no footer"

I wish Lazar could have grabbed that board so they wouldn't get a three, but I knew McNeal would hit that crap.  He's been clutch for the past few weeks.
