Unfortunately, just before takeoff this morning for LAX, plane turned around and had to switch for "mechanical problems". Set us back an hour or two so I had to miss the Marquette practice.

Anyway, seeing if anybody on here is in Anaheim. We should meet up for drinks. I plan on going to the team hotel for the Welcome Reception. Who's gonna be there?

SoCalEagle

Hey MUBB, glad you made it to SoCal safely.  I'll be there tonight and a couple of buddies have called and said they would be there, too.  We'll look for you.  Also, although she can't make it tonight, I'm bringing the Mrs. for the pre-game festivities and the game tomorrow.

Tonight/Tomorrow = Awesome (especially for those of us who don't get to see the team play that often)!!!

ChicosBailBonds

I'll be there tomorrow...where are you guys going to be tonight...I might try to swing down there.

I have a bracket draft tonight to do first.

Wade for President

This conversation needs to be held offline, as it's INCREDIBLY frustrating for all of us jealous fans that can't be out there.

Get loud fellas.

;D Very good point...sorry about that!!

I'll be there tonight with my buddy I came with. We're in our mid-20's, I'm the tall drink of water with the MU warmup jacket on. Hoping for a great time.
Chico, no idea what's on tap afterwards, so unfortunately I'm not much help!

We pick 6 players each and you add up all the points they score and the person with the most points wins.  So picking Harangody might be a good pick but if you get the 3rd highest scorer on Carolina and they go 5 games, that's probably a better pick.

So the object is to pick the top scorers from the teams you think will go farthest in the tournament.  Those guys fly by pretty quick and then it's time to figure out who is a sleeper team that might get you 3 games and of course picking the right guy on that team that will score a lot of points.

Use a snake draft like you would fantasy football.  Ton of fun and challenging.

Hey guy. Glad to say I got tickets...finally! Twisted some arms at the MU tix office and they said they'd get me 2 tickets in the MU section (granted, this is because they had extras...but I'm happy nonetheless!).

MUUWUWM

I've always found the MU ticket office to be very accomadating if your polite and persistant.
Glad you were able to get out there, give a yell for me.
