"Cinderella fellas: Marquette. A lackluster stretch run may get the Golden Eagles a tiny bit overlooked, and they are sitting in the half of the draw away from Memphis. Tom Crean is a proven big-game coach who can get a good team up for Kentucky and, presumably, Stanford before an expected look at Texas. Marquette has played ranked teams particularly close and has a balanced scoring foursome that is difficult to shut down completely."

So much for flying under the radar.  As Bill Schroeder would say..."Looks like the skunk's out of the box".
The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.

I'm shocked Crean has a rep as a "big-game coach" with some members of the media.

He's no Pearl, right 4ever?  ;)

Bill Hodges was also a big game coach.

Sportswriters are just fans with a keyboard and access to the public. What do they know?

Tom Crean is a proven big-game coach?

in the last 3 nc2a games, mu has been outscored in the first half 133-78!  TC better come up with a new pre-game speech!!

I hope the team didn't take the flight to Raleigh, N.C. for the game like the Tribune article states. ;)
