SI.com Mainpage - Big Marquette/Converse Ad

Just went to the homepage and was surprised to see a Marquette and Converse advertisement right at the top.  Hopefully it's there for awhile for you all to see.

If you look to the right there are a bunch of kids and pictures that they were taking at the Pitt game.  Pretty cool!

The blitz has begun. Between this and the ESPN Magazine print ad, Marquette will be on random peoples' minds.

I thought the SI.com one was pretty cool. Granted, the Warriors shall always remain the true name but this will do for the public image it will bring.

I agree IAm- exposure is great, but the ad leaves something more to be desired.

Seriously, how awesome is that?!?! Nike would never have given us this kind of pub, but that's the perk about being the only school donning Converse. And, they're unveiling this at the time of year when all eyes are fized on the roundball. Sweet!!

that ad in ESPN the Mag is amazing. with this ad, marquette is getting national recognition. That is an ad more for MU than for converse and I love how they are really teaming up with our program and the university to get their word out as well as ours. makes me feel unbelievably lucky to be part of the MU nation.  I cant wait to get off work and go buy a copy or two of the mag.

I agree, this publicity is incredible for MU. We combine this with a nice little run this year, and we could reap the benefits for years like we have after 2003.

Don't get me wrong--I LOVE the exposure for the University. I just think it could have been done better. Can't wait for the TV commercial!
