In light of the past week's events, if UW beats Illinois andd Kansas loses today, does Bucky get a #1 seed? Not asking if they deserve it or whether you hate the school in the city where Ziggy lives, or if they're all a bunch of pinko commie nut cases. Does the Committee give it to them or not?

I would say no. UNC, UCLA, Memphis, winner of Kansas/Texas, and probably Duke would still be ahead of them.

Ummmm no.  If Wisc gets a 1 seed, I predict they are the first to lose to a 16 seed.

No, I think Tenn, and Texas would both be ahead of UW.

Despite the tourney loss, Tennessee is at the top of RPI and SOS.

Texas obviously would have beaten Kansas and has 3 wins against top 5.

That said, nothing would surprise me.

If they get a #1 then MU should be a #2.

I want this quote to serve as a reminder to the vast majority of scoop posters in regards to the MU BB program.

Unless Brent Musbuger is chairing the committee, absolutley no chance. I'm not sure they even get a 2, let alone a 1. I have no doubt the top seeds are already chosen and placed, and the outcomes of these games will have absolutely no impact.

I believe the Number 1's are going to be the 4 best teams...UNC, Memhpis, UCLA, and Kansas.

The 2's and 3's will start with Tennessee, Texas, Duke, Xavier, Georgetown, and Wisconsin - probably in that order.
