Golden opportunity to take that 4 seed.  Of course they both lost to losing teams while we lost to a team going to the NCAAs...I guess we'll see, but I assume it's a 5 for us.

In terms of first round games, I always say the biggest difference is between the 4 and 5.  The four gets the winner of a weak conference, while the 5 has to play an at-large.  Don't think we would have moved to a 4 unless we won the Big East tournament, though.  We'll get a 5 or 6 and be a tough out.

After tonight's game, we will play 12 games against teams in the Sagarin Top 25.  Next closest is Pitt with 10, and nobody else has 10 or more.  We are way better than Purdue and probably better than IU.  It's time this year we get the schedule break.

Mostly true, though the committee has put some at-larges in the 13th slot
