Pitt is doing nothing interesting and tough toi stop.  MU can't keep 'em outta the paint.  Silly

3rd game in a row where Lazar stunk in 1H

TC -- too late to sit Jerel

Bad call by Higgins again...nothing new.  Hearing Elmore try to justify it was a joke.  If Elmore could be anymore pro biased to NYC guys it would be hard because he is giving verbal bj's right now to the NYC players.

NYWarrior is not happy.

Pitt is not good.  Anychance MU can stop the dribble penetration, and press Fatso Fields?

these refs are absolutely atrocious.

I predict TC will get T'ed up before the night is over.  When Young passed it to himself and caught it after three steps and then stepped on the base line to boot--all without a call--he was jumping up and down barking at Higgins.  Of course, going 8 minutes without a point doesn't help our cause either.  Geesh--we have no legs.  A T might just spark us if we are flat again in the first four minutes here.

But, we have taken Pitts best shot...the law of averages have to swing our way for a run here to start the second half.  I am afraid our foul trouble will do us in.  The bench is going to have to come in and play like there is nothing to lose.  Fitz just needs to start launching.  TDiamond press with Trend on point.

I can never remember a half of any college game in which four of the five starters did not score a point. Unbelievable.

We beat these guys by 18.  I don't care where we're playing, they're not good enough to be blowing us out.  Time for someone besides Jerel to step up.  He's in foul trouble and struggling on defense because 1) he's pressing too hard because he's not getting any help, and 2) someone else has to guard Young.  It's the third game in three nights, don't make him do it at both ends again.  James has to stop throwing up bricks, Matthews has to do something besides take up space, and Hayward has to do something besides miss bunnies and add to his charge total.
Even though he's done nothing on offense, Cubillan's pressure might be the only reason we're still in it.  It's going to take a miracle to turn this thing around.  Only positive sign is Pitt scored only 9 points in the last 11 minutes (if you want to call that positive, we scored 2 in the last 9:30), so the defense did get stronger, or Pitt's all threes that would have buried us just bricked off.

James is not having a good night. Pitt is doing a great job on him. If we can't get him going...gonna lose big. That said, i think we'll get him going.

I know St. Patrick's Day is Monday, but is everyone else assuming Higgins is already drunk?

Ouch.  Can't buy a shot. Can't stop them on the defensive end.  No one has stepped up other than Mcneal and Burke which is not saying much at all.

If we want to win this game and that is debateable at this point in time we really need to apply some heavy full court pressure.  Ramon and Fat Lever don't impress me with their ball handling ability.

And now bad effort on the boards.  bring in Mbakwe, Trend and Burke.

Have the rules relative to traveling been suspended for Sam Young, and the BooYa's are too busy talking about Pitt's NYC connection that they forgot to tell us?

how about bringing in Scott and sending Cubes to the far end of the bench, beyond the walk-ons?
