Lazaar's missed dunk
« on: March 14, 2008, 01:48:58 PM »
Haven't seen anyone else mention this, but how hard did Lazaar try to posterize Harongody on that play (and how bad did I want him to do it?)? That one would have been on BET promo/highlight reels for years.

Honestly, I thought we got a gift call there.   Would have loved to see the poster moment, but I thought Lazar didn't have enough steam, took off too soon and blocked his own dunk with the rim.   It was good to see us get a call, though.

If he would have pulled that off, it would have been my desktop wallpaper for a long time.

The BET program actually has a cover of Lazar posterizing someone.  It looks pretty cool. I'll try to put up a pic of it when I get back

If the photo was taken before Lazar clanged it off the rim, it would still be "posterize-able".
The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.
