Why I want MU to win tonight
« on: March 13, 2008, 04:55:35 PM »
I'm all for improving, or at least maintaining our seed, and all that stuff, but all I really want is to be able to watch the game tomorrow night. I just want to be in the semi's...Maybe pick up a fish fry, have a few drinks, get the kids to bed and watch the game in peace without having to worry about work, getting up on Saturday, etc. Of course once tomorrow rolls around, I'll feel the same way about Saturday until the game starts, but one step at a time.

I like the 8:30 start.  The five year old is asleep and the 15 year old doesn't care. ;D

OMG! -- a college student who gets it. I tell them over and over that they are in the middle of the biggest vacation they will ever have. Yet, with rare exception they complain about [whiney voice] how hard it is or how much work they have to do. [/whiney voice] What a joke. I'm glad yo appreciate what you have, because while real life has its advantages, its also a bitch.

Navin, imagine someone coming up to you and offering you four years to study the subjects you want to, choose your own schedule, and be social (remember the social part of college is important, too).

Where do I sign up for that?

...As soon as your $100,000 check clears. Not that I'm complaining. 40 hour weeks? days that start before 10? No thank you. When would I have time to watch Sportscenter 2-3 times a day? I'm living this up while I can.

On a related note, if any alums would like to live vicariously through me, I'd be happy to let you sponsor my 5th, 6th...12th  years.

I want to win tonight because it would be the first meaningful post-season victory since March 2003.

I would substitute with

but otherwise that sounds like a decent plan.

Wow. Maybe we should start a new poll for which letter looks like the biggest doof (substitute your own words as you see fit.)

The crappy paint jobs, the postures, expressions, crooked hats, haircut on the O, necklace on the S. Ugh.

Dude, the O looks like FES from That 70s Show.  The S looks like a younger, whiter (if that's possible) Billy Crystal.
