Alexander can SHOOT.

Also, one thing you don't want to hear as you're walking to the line is Raftery saying, "Am I reading this right? 38%?" Flowers missed, as the numbers would suggest.

We want UCONN to come back and win this game. No need for WVU to win this game and potentially steal a higher seed then MU.

We live in a society that rewards mediocrity , I detest mediocrity - David Goggi

I want this quote to serve as a reminder to the vast majority of scoop posters in regards to the MU BB program.

Man, Joe Alexander is the complete package (long, very athletic, nice stroke, and skills). He's the type of talent that could carry WVU to a nice run in the NCAA's. I could see Alexander being a lottery pick in the future.

I really hope these refs don't ref the MU game... such ticky tack fouls, lil bumps are being called, really hurts an aggressive D team like MU, or UCONN like in this game.

pure genius stuff by Bill Simmons, remember to read day 2

TallTitan34

Bilas and Raferty are crapping all over the refs for the last 20 minutes.  They are brutal for both teams.

terrible officiating... definetely favored wvu though.

Technically for seedin purposes you'd rather have WVU win because it helps Marquette RPI a bit.

No way ... It was in MU's best interest that WV lose to UCONN. It wouldn't surprise me that if we lose tonight, WV is given a higher seed than us come Sunday.

Why does it help our RPI? Having played each team once, wouldn't it have a neutral effect? If we played more teams that played WVU than played Uconn it might help but other than that...?
