We are a 5 seed, playing Ohio St, with Stanford as the 4 seed, wouldn't be worried about OSU, however Stanford would be awful for this Marquette team.

Have seen Stanford.  They would KILL MU  The big kid inside would have a field day.  Not a good match for MU at all.

haha, word.

but yeah, geez, literal twin 7' towers...crazy.  Those are some good genes though, man...7' ballers and the brains for Stanford?

more than makes up for their girly names, if u ask me.

Stanford's inside guys are good, but their guards are not that good in my opinion.  It would be an interesting game with Stanford winning in the end.  But their pg is a pure PG....let him shoot all day.  It's a very ugly shot and not that effective.

Brook is the one that is the stud at the 4 spot....at about 19 a game.  Robin is about 10 per game at the 5.  The key is not to have Finger, Hill or Goods go off or you're cooked.

Consensus has us as a 6 right now...playing someone like Illinois State, Kentucky, UMASS or Davidson.

Fox Sports has us as a 6.  Playing Arizona State with a potential second round matchup against the Badgers.  I'd rather not be in that situation.

Personally, I don't think we match up too well with OSU and that is a game that would scare me.  I would rather drop to a 6 and play a Kentucy or an Arizona State then an OSU.  OSU is a good young team starting to play some pretty good ball right now

I would not want to play a hot Kentucky team right now, any of the other 3 would be fine for me

Kentucky is playing well down the stretch and OSU, imo, still has no right to be considered as an NCAA team. They should be in the NIT, no question.

MUFanInGreenBay

Well, if MU is a consensus 6 seed that means they'll be a 8 seed come selection Sunday. The last two years MU has got screwed and I fear the same will happen this year because of their poor win/loss record vs. Top 50 RPI.

robmufan

I really think that we are no lower than a 7 seed, but i honestly think a 6 seed.  Which is fine with me cause that means no West Coast!

AlumKCof93

I think we are a 6/7 seed right now.  If we lose to SHU, then we could be an 8.  If we beat ND. then we are a 5/6.  If we beat Lville, then we are a 4/5.

Then again, I thought we were looking at pretty much the same scenario last year, and I think we ended up an 8.  And Lunardi had us as a 5 at the time, so who knows.  I'm just glad we'll be in and hope we get a good matchup.  I'd take the 2nd round matchup against Wisc, but it would be very surprised if that would happen since we already played them.

After last nights upsets I don't think OSU will make the NCAA anymore.

It depends on what OSU does in the Big10 tourney.  I know the selection committee would love to get 5 big ten teams in the tournament if they could

they surely will, regardless.  (is the head of selection committee from another big10 school this year?)
