MU has played @ SU. I think it may have been one of Hank Raymonds' team and if I remember correctly they got drilled pretty good. The Carrier Dome can be a very intimidating venue for a visiting team and I expect nothing different this time as well. A win there, against a desparate Orange team, would go a long way in reestablishing the swagger needed to advance this time of year.

crean has only coached there once, and that was when he was an assistant at pitt.

or a loss will go just as far. an "L" could mean a 6 seed and a 2nd round match w/ND (uconn slipped to 4 w/the PC upset). with a situation where MU is most likely to win the same # of games in the end of the season, what do you want? last regular season game, plus 1 conf. tournament game; or lose the last reg. season game and win 2 conf. tournament games?

Reestablishing? Makes me wonder exactly what team you have been watching. Have you seen any of MU's last 4or 5 games?

A ludicrous statement indeed. With the exception of the Louisville game, Marquette has played outstanding basketball in February. The sheer number of turnovers they are creating from their opponents is unbelievable. The swagger is there and has been for the last 3 weeks.

Brew City

While they've played good ball, losing your last two in Big East play doesn't help either.  While I agree, the swagger has been there, after an emotionally draining loss like Georgetown, a statement win at Syracuse would be huge.

However, I wouldn't be too disappointed with a loss looking at the way the Big East tourney would set up for us.  I'd take revenge over ND and GT and a loss to Syracuse.

saw something on ESPN crawl that said MU is 0-3 lifetime at SYR.

for what its worth.  Lets change that today

Agreed - let's kick some orange ass :)

And not to nit-pick, but you didn't need ESPN to tell you we were 0-3 there - the wiki link (from above) tells all.  ;D

Dudes, the swagger I'm talking about hasn't been present this time of year since 2003. What you guys think is swagger is really false confidence.
