Is anyone getting "Video no longer available" when clicking on the videos? I am.

tomcrean4pres

worked ok for me... thats to bad that Trend wont graduate this year... will he have to pay to finish his degree???
***Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. It's just that yours is stupid. ***

TallTitan34

I am getting video unavailable as well.

muhoosier260

pulling the chair, hahah. i never understood why more players don't do that, especially in the nba.

TallTitan34

The videos work when I go to the viddler website to view them.

I see Homer is bringing back the old "Sheriff" nickname he used with Marcus Jackson a few years back on Mbakwe.

mu_hilltopper

I changed the URL parameters .. are you guys still seeing "not available"?

That was actually George Thompson's nickname for Marcus Jackson.  The Homer asked George for permission to resurrect the nickname for TM, and George agreed it was a good fit.

I recall "The Sheriff" being the nickname GT used for Faisal Abraham, not Jackson. And I thought it was apt for FA, but Trevor needs something else. It doesn't seem to fit him. Abraham looked the part.

Homer needs to come up with some new nicknames instead of recycling them. That's pretty weak.

I heard that MU is going to hold a vote on player nicknames this week.

BTW, "Warrior" write-ins will not be counted.

I concur, it was Faisal's nickname.

MUfan12

It was Faisal's nickname, and Abel Joseph was his Deputy.

From time to time I do miss George.

TallTitan34

Humm that was before my time but I distinctly remember Homer calling MJax the sheriff.

This must be the second time he has recycled it then!

BrewCity83

I think you guys are both right.  Homer's always gotta have a sheriff in town.

Henry Sugar

In Homer's defense, his line was that there was a tradition of "sheriffs" at Marquette.

"Sheriff" is less a nickname and more a position that is filled by various players throughout time.  I'm sure Mbakwe won't be the last sheriff.

A warrior is an empowered and compassionate protector of others.

mu_hilltopper, the videos now work for me. Thanks a lot for posting those.

Trevor used the "pulling out the chair" technique right when he got in the "Cuse game...and it worked to get a traveling call.  That was pretty cool.
