Best Game/Worst Game of the Season

With Senior Night, I am feeling sentimental as the season winds down...

Best game:  ND at home (worst ND road loss)

Worst Game:  UL at home (tough sitting there by myself in an empty stadium with 2:00 to play)

Worst: Georgetown game.  While the louisville game was bad, we had this one within our grip and let it go.

Best game had to be UWM.  It's no small feat to beat one of the best programs in the country by 35.

I actually thought UW was our best game.  It's just so hard to win on their home floor.

Agreed home vs. Louisville was the worst.

G'Town was the worst.  I'd rather get spanked than have the W ripped out of our hands.

Worst Game:  Duke at the Maui because I felt we should have won it, and how good would our resume look with wins over UW and Duke?

proved we couldn't hang at home with a talented and hot team that wasn't kind to us at their home...

just soooo sweet kicking their smugasses

a very very good team that we hung with and should have beaten... but those things happen.

Best:  @ UW-Madison.  No matter what else happens all year, we will still have that to talk about with the Dreadful RedHeads.
Close 2nd Best:  spanking ND.  I was there.  It was very sweet.

Worst:  @ Louisville.  It was the first game we were blown out of.  Made me ill.
Close 2nd Worst:  Georgetown.  I was there.  Also made me ill.  Got jobbed.
Also sucky:  Getting jobbed @ ND, getting jobbed vs. Duke.

Best:  @Wisconsin --- Those idiot Badger fans are still talking about it and wanting another shot at us.  Sweet feeling and huge win for NCAA purposes. 
Second - @Cincy..got the monkey off our back and proved we could win a conference game on the road.  Great confidence boost.

Worst:  @Louisville -  Worst played game of the year.  A lot of people thought MU was merely an NIT team after that game. 
Second - vs Georgetown -  Worst feeling because it was a game we should have won.

Worst Game:  Duke in Hawaii.  Moan all you want about Georgetown, but if there ever was one game taken away from us by the officials, this was it.

Runners-up: at UConn, at Louisville, Louisville.  Hate getting spanked.

I agree with these choices. The way I interpret best it does not mean favorite game.

I thought Marquette was running at level 10 on all cylinders during the OK State game.

I actually thought one of the best games we played was against Duke.  If the foul differential had been better than 27-16, who knows.  If we play like that we'll win a couple in the NCAAs.

Worst Game:  Duke in Hawaii.  Moan all you want about Georgetown, but if there ever was one game taken away from us by the officials, this was it.

What lost that game for us was that we missed about 30 1-5 footers.  The refs didn't help, but that is typical in a Duke game. 
Worst loss was Gtown
Best win is yet to come.

I'll make the case for GTown as best game...THAT was BIGTIME basketball.  The crowd on it's feet down the stretch, incredible noise, great plays each way.  The outcome sucked but that game alone is why I shell out $1200 on season tix.  No other game at home this even approached it. 

Other than that

Best: Bucky - No one wins at the Kohl Center, that night is one for the ages
Worst: Louisville, each of them

I agree. The outcome sucked, but it was a fantastic game. Same with ND a couple years ago.
