If Syracuse wins, I don't think that we will have to play them in the first round.  I'd rather play Hall, providence, or cincy.

Yeah, but we play them Saturday.  If we lose, we likely slip to the 6th seed.

The 6th seed gets you 9pm (EST) Wednesdy, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.  GREAT exposure for MU...and I've been told that more important than winning is how MU's profile has been raised in the past 5 seasons.  9pm starts each night would further raise that profile.

While I would rather have the night games, the top half of the bracket with the 5 seed is a lot easier path.

That being said I don't put very much stock into the conference tournaments, so I am not concerned with a second round exit.

I don't care how this one turns out, but Syracuse is threatening to cough it up. Regardless, I see MU pounding them and their 5 man rotation.

If we can't get by the Cuse saturday, we will likely only get two 9:00 pm features.  The good news is the Cuse ran out of gas against the do nothing Hall and we'll be moving a whole lot faster.  We might loose the battle of the boards but we will offset in steals.  A difference with the Cuse big men versus Loisville or ND is that they don't protect the paint as well.  Cuse gives up a lot of points and has left the back door open for SH.  Barro may be able to pad some stats and Burke may get another hilight.
Well the bars closed, who wants to get a burrito at Jalisco's
