I am really glad that I purchased the full-season of FC this year.  I got to see every game because they added about three games that were not on their original schedule including tonight's game.

The biggest problem with FC is the quality of picture. I have FC and found games on SNY had a much better picture in comparison. The problem with SNY is you never know when they are going to switch over to different programming.

Quality does suck, but it is the same as TW

why isn't everything in HD?

HD cameras are too expensive. The NFL on CBS isn't even completely in HD yet, let alone local sports programming.

Its definitely better than watching the ticker on ESPN News etc.

Add in the bandwidth and those costs too.  Each HD channel is equivalent to about 6 SD channels.  Cable, satellite, FIOS all have some restraints (some more than others).  HD sucks up that bandwidth to the point that other things have to come down or be re-arranged and many distributors aren't going to do that.

How much would it cost for a bar/restaurant to purchase the Full Court package?  I've called 4 bars in my neighborhood (the ones people go to to watch sports) and none of them have it.  I know it isn't $100, like the consumer package, I'm just wondering if the price keeps them hesitant...

Also: Comcast (Chicago) no longer allows purchasing games ala carte, as I found out tonight.  Bastards.

It's based on fire code occupancy so the price isn't the same for all bars.  But for most average bars the cost would be between $419 and $629.
