what the name of that song that goes "what's up Marquette?" (over and over and over) is? My wife and I were at the Rutgers game, and it's been driving her nuts that she can't recall the actual name of the song. The "what's up Marquette" was obviously added/mixed in for the BC crowd.

Moonboots

The original version of the song is "Apache" by the Shadows, but the most popular covers of the song are a mix by the Sugarhill Gang under the same name ("Apache") and "Jump On It" by Sir Mix-A-Lot in the early 1990's.

THAT SONG MUST NEVER BE PLAYED AGAIN.

It is so freaking stupid, I just want to vomit every time they play it.

2 million times better than the 'clap, clap, clap your hand...' etc. I cannot stand that song. At least you can have fun w/ Apache and it reminds me of the Fresh prince of bel-aire.

Steak

It could be the fact that they like showing the students dancing to the song on the Jumbotron

The kid in the front row with the Afro loves to dance to that 'clap, clap, clap' song.
